Excuse my ignorance. I am looking for a holster for a 5" 1911 that I can conceal comfortably.

I keep seeing the "Georgia Snap" style holsters with 1911's in them. Zoo, as well as Ryan Grizzle make a LOT of them. Now, this is an OWB holster, but is it designed for concealment? I don't want to OC all the time. Do most of you wear it openly with shirt tucked in?

I have never seen a picture of anyone wearing one or how well they conceal, but I live in Georgia and they seem popular here with 1911's and I'm wondering what I am missing.

zoos holsters are 1 of the best and hes a nice guy to work with

But the Georgia Snap style holsters are made to be worn with an untucked shirt, but to be concealed, not "lazy carry"? That is how I normally carry.

Anyone have any pics of these beautiful holsters in action?

As long as its tight with the body I assume it'll work good for me. Any chance you could take a pic leaning forward to see how much the butt of the pistol prints (absolutely no pervert intended) as well as a pic with arms raised? Looks like a short shirt but that big 1911 still not sticking out

Awesome thanks! Seems to hide that big gun as much as I am looking for. Have to get money together and a permission slip and Chuck will get an order! Can't resist how beautiful they are.

Trying not to ask a d*ck question, but thinking about ordering my first CB holster after beating around the bush for years. Looking for a holster for a PPK.

Question is, do these "georgia snap" style OWB holsters conceal as good as an IWB? I know they are probably more comfortable, and a PPK is pretty easy to conceal (compared to most of you carrying 1911's).

If I wanted deep concealment with a PPK, but still very comfortable, and was to order from Zoo, what would you guys recommend?

Thanks for the info. I've got some spare clips, but I also do not care about tucking (i'm a bum I guess).
