So I have an annual subscription at work to Microsoft Office on my Mac. Somebody sent me an .xps file. Why can't I open it?

Its probably corrupted. Happens with PDF files sometimes as well.

Often have problems with that format. Sometimes using novaPDF can convert XPS files to PDF documents.

Will it let you save it? If so, save it, right click on it, go to properties and "allow" the file.

Then open it.
