Yeah, Az is right....I may try to sell, then trade, then I'll say I want to keep it, then back to trade, then flip-flop some more, then we'll say ok maybe trade some other time, then I'll email you the next day and say well I can trade again.....

But to tell the truth, I have never flip-flopped on a firm cash offer!

don't forget to mention the GI Champion has a Chip McCormick long trigger in it ;)

is the Yugo 24/47 a matching numbers gun? Seems most I see are all matching except the bolt.... which tells me they might have been unmarked M48 variants that they put the straight-handle bolt into. but I dunno?

I've been quitely looking for a 24/47... and an Enfield :)

Yep, JP233 is right, I forgot to mention the McCormick trigger. Sweet shooting little gun.

jp233---the 24/47 is all-matching, there is little bluing left on it, but it is a nice weapon nonetheless. The Enfield .308 is even nicer, all the parts match and it has a like new bore.

I'd love an Enfield in .308 - even posted an advert for that a couple weeks ago.

You know what I already have for trade...if interested, let me know.

I used to have a Carcano years ago. Couldn't hit s:censored:t with it.

I got rid of it before I become implimented as the second gunman on the grassy knowl.

Not to discourage anyone from buying it, but like Juggalo's experience, I couldn't hit crap with the Carcano either. That is the main reason I suggested D&T for scope mounting........then you really would be the second guman.

I may be interested in it in a little while (cash, no trade). It won't be anytime TOO soon, so do not hold it for me or anything. I'll just see what things look like in the next month or two.

I didn't mean to sound discouraging to Repeat Defender's sale. Carcano's are a unique piece of history to have. I have heard of these rifles being able to be "accurized" and the ballistics on the 6.5mm Carcano cartridge make it a fine medium range hunting round. Works efficently well on bipedals too!

No problem, I am not disparaging the rifle, just my ability to shoot it

It would definitely make a fine hunting rifle for medium game at the ranges we hunt at here in GA. And since it is already sportered a little, no reason to feel guilty drilling and tapping it to mount a scope. Plus with the bent bolt, it will be easy to find a low mount scope to fit it.
