Recently paid off our mortgage and received a check in the mail today from Chase Home Finance. I was surprised since I paid the amount they said I owed.

They sent me a check for a whopping 19 cents. :rotfl2:

Big question now is what do I spend it on.

Congrats!! If you shop around, maybe you could find 1 9mm round for that price. Or maybe a couple of .22 rounds. But either way, enjoy your windfall check.

Bank will probably charge you a dollar to process something that small.

Maybe find a Chase branch nearby and let them cash it.

Now that you're rolling in the clover, can I borrow some money? I don't want it all, just a nickel.

Buy a book of matches for the mortgage burning party to celebrate the payoff.
I guess people still do that.

What sort of interest terms are we talking here? Cause if someone is looking to either borrow or invest $0.19...

I mean, you're not looking to HOARD that windfall like some evil one-percenter or something, are you?

Be smart like Hillary Clinton and invest it in cattle futures. Maybe you'll make a $100,000 profit too.

What I find funny is the gaff that it probable cost Chase $20 to process, print, and mail you that 19 cent check.
