Okay folks, here is another related poll.

Would you favor a federal law which states the following?

"A citizen who is licensed to carry, and who peacefully carries a weapon in any off-limits location, shall be liable only for a non-criminal offense resulting in a fine of no more than ten dollars (paid to the government entity which owns the location), with no risk of loss of license, in spite of any state or federal law to the contrary."

If you carry peacefully, what harm has been done just because you have carried in an off-limits location? After all, it's only the bad guys that carry to do harm, right?

Let there be additional liability if you have a ND in an off-limits location that causes harm, but that should apply to any location.

Should people lose their rights or be imprisoned just because they break a malum prohibitum law where no one has been harmed, and where there was no intention of committing harm?
