After 9 wonderful years my wife has finally seen the light (or more to the point, sees the need) to get that first carry sidearm. We've been to the 'toy store' and she's looked and picked the sidearm that she likes and suites her. Next step is to find a range that'll rent, if possiable, that model .....and a few others she might like, and put some rounds downrange. She also wants to take a basic firearm safety course....which is a GREAT idea. I'm a firearms instructor for the Navy BUT, I understand that it'd be better for her to do this for herself and to do it properly.

So, my question is this, have any of the ladies, or husbands have you significant other, here taken or recommend a basic firearm course in the Camden County area and did you like it.

A little background, she's been around guns since being around me but guns wern't a big thing in her life (she was born in Ill.). She's never fired a pistol or wanted to. Only recently has she noticed the actual need of the 'extra' protection a sidearm could offer with her new job that has her traveling about the state.
