If I had my way we wouldn't even vote in a presidential election. I would prefer that Senators and Electoral College members were appointed by the State Governors and confirmed by the State Legislatures.

Apologies to the Libertarians for these generalities, but I'd have to think that most of those voting for Johnson, would vote for Trump (assuming they would vote) in a national run-off if the Libertarian candidate has already lost

I would not, and I do not know any who would. And Project538 polling suggests that they would split about 60/40 for Clinton.
