Off-Duty SWAT Officer Shoots McDonald's Robbery Suspect

Off-Duty Officer Shoots Suspect HOUSTON -- Investigators in northwest Harris County say an off-duty officer shot a robbery suspect on Thursday night.
Officials say the Houston Police SWAT officer was leaving a restaurant on Jones Road when people from the McDonald's next door ran out of the building saying they were being robbed.
The officer followed the suspect to his car and opened fire when the man threatened him with a gun.
The suspect was wounded but is expected to recover.
