Which 357SIG Self-Defense Ammo?

Which 357SIG Self-Defense ammo do you like and why?

I'm getting comfortable with my new P226R and once I am sure that its reliable I'm going to start running SD ammo through it for operation checks. I'd be interested in folks perspective on what they like and why. Thanks.

Simple. Trade the SI for MA and you are good. Beyond that, any one except FMJ. Nuff Said.

Sorry, not a wheel gun guy. Do the 442 as a BUG and sometime pocket carry but just not into revolvers. How about 357SIG ammo?

People have chronoed and verified the specs. It's the real deal.

Not Arnold. Not concealable. Thanks though. :screwy:
1850fps? Daaaaaang, that round's screaming.
Underwood Ammo.

From 65 grains up to 147 grains. Check 'em out.
The XTP is a good round, by the way, engineered for high velocity and terminal performance on meat and bone, and even the heaviest offering from Underwood still flies out of the muzzle at 1250 fps.

I carry daily a 10mm XTP, 200 grains, that has the same muzzle velocity, from Underwood.
The 124 grain XTP is 1475 fps, but personally I think that is getting a little light for a self defense round.
Thanks folks, I have some reading and reviewing to do.
I vote for Underwood in the heaviest grain at 1250 fps, if you can handle the recoil.
Sigs own "Elite Performance" ammo has been getting good reviews too.

Was shooting 125gr at ~1400fps today. Not noticeably harder than anything else. Enjoy these new 40/357 weapons a lot. With the 357Sig ammo its muzzle flash more than recoil that is more pronounced in my experience.

I own a couple of boxes of that in 10mm auto. Its pretty stout stuff and easier to find locally than Grizzly or Underwood.

I found Underwood on my front porch.

They ship . . .

A lot of gun owners actually believe they are operating under the government's radar when they buy locally with cash and won't order ammo online because of itâ€"LOL.

Thats why I buy from guys on forums and pay cash.
