Bingo. Patents and society used to enforce boundaries. Without boundaries people seem to just run amuck. Personal responsibility, critical listening skills, consideration of others, and other basic social behaviors seem to be lost with the last couple of generations.

My wife works in HR and she's seeing candidates that want to bring their mom to the interview, want to agree on the terms of what will be asked in the interview in advances (all questions in writing), etc.

It used to be that parents tried to prepare their child for their path in life - now they seem to want to prepare the path instead, so their child won't be challenged, won't face microaggressions, etc.

I mean - what the ?

He or she is also likely to escalate over time. Is that what you think is going to happen? There gonna come a time when disciplinary measures will/should be employed?

That's so annoying. Some people act like they have a right to assemble, and petition for redress of grievances. What gives them that right?

Once the yearbooks were distributed, didn't they belong to the students? Someone should arrest the Principal for robbery.

Do any of those people get hired by your wife's company? Do they even get interviewed?

I would cancel the interview for anybody that even inquired into bringing a mother to the interview or wanted to agree on what would be asked. It would be difficult to cancel the interview, because I would be laughing so hard, but I would cancel it nonetheless.

Sarcasm noted. The petitioning for redress of grievances was not the focal point of my attention however.
My ire was inspired due to the " The University of California-Santa Cruz caved to the demands of liberal student protesters".
Particularly as it relates to the " painting the Parks House the colors of Pan-African liberation and teaching a "mandatory educational diversity orientation" to freshmen students.

If you mean the Constitution, perhaps you should read it. The Founders wrote the adverb "peaceably" for a reason. Listen to them.
