What's the downside to 10mm again?

If it doesn’t happen, Ruger makes a single stack 10mm that I’ve been very happy with. It’s a bit antiquated with the metal construction and all, but it’s a reliable accurate pistol.

What am I missing? B&T APC9 PRO 9mm semi-auto pistols for sale. Mostly out-of-stock but apparently available.

The link tmoore912 provided is to a sub gun, not a pistol or SBR.

Ah, well, a sub gun's a bit different, yeah.

Price wise, the CZ Scorpion EVO pistols are much cheaper than the B&Ts.

Is there a downside. Went into academy they had about 30 boxes of 10mm no other pistol caliber in stock

Yeah, that is why I carry 10mm, for ammo availability!

A couple of weeks ago, we were in Blairsville and went into a general store, Alexander's. They have a mix of clothes, furniture, guns & other housewares. I've bought a fair bit from them when we are in the area. They had quite a bit of 10mm, target & defensive. He said every other handgun round gets taken as soon as they put it out. They did have quite a bit behind the counter that they reserved for gun purchases. He said he had enough in every caliber for every gun he sales though.

This guy killed a Cape buffalo with one. I wonder if the second shot was necessary.
He has another video where he takes an elk.

I have no doubts it would have gone down with the first shot, even with a heavy caliber double rifle prudent hunters pay the insurance on anything as dangerous as a Cape buffalo.

10mm ain't 450 Nitro Express. And IMHO thats about the smallest appropriate for Cape Buffalo. I would not make a Buff mad with anything less than a 458 Win Mag.

But thats one confident guy and probably a bit more experienced at it than I.

I wouldn’t rely on it as the only option either. That double rifle in the hands of the other guy tells me the guy with the 10mil feels the same way. The results are still a testament to the 10 mil though.

After doing a little reading on the subject the 10mm is probably the least powerful handgun to be used for hunting any of the big five. Most countries in Africa mandate a rifle with a cal of . 375 or larger . And they are pretty strict about it. Every handgun hunt I can find documented was done with special permits by very well heeled hunters. Guides , which are required, I’m sure want a lot of extra money. Since they are responsible for the clients well being that would be understandable. Handguns and bows were pretty much laughed at until the 44 mag and compound bows became the standard. I couldn’t actually find any references to the 44 , everything I read was 454 casull and up. I’m not saying the 10 is not capable just saying with any handgun it’s pretty much a stunt.
