Baikal is the Russian mfg. that makes many different firearms, and lots of other stuff.

Russian guns may not be pretty, but they do tend to go "bang" every single time!!!

I was browsing their site when I found this pistol. It shows being chambered in either 9x17(k) or .380. I thought that was the same round. Any expert opinions out there?

Their shotguns also look very nice... I'm really getting the yearning for a scattergun. If I give in, my wife is not gonna be happy...! :evil:

But, this is soooooooooooo cool looking and I like the two methods of operation; semi-auto or pump action...:

I don't believe there is a difference. 9x17 is the European designation for the caliber (.380ACP) IIRC.

I have a Savage Arms model 410 shotgun side by side chambered in 12GA. They are made in Baikal, Russia. It is a very nice gun
