What do you think of the S&W Model 617 10 shot 22LR Revolver

Does anyone have one of these? I have wanted one for a while and am coming down to purchase time. How do you like yours? Do you know of any local (Cherokee Co.) shops with one? Has yours ever messed up (timing, ejecting)?

I like the 6" based on what I've read. Opinions?

Do you have a scope on yours for hunting and does it help much (there seems to be controversy about adding a scope).

Any insight into this gun would be appreciated. I'd just like to hear what folks on here have to say about it before I buy. I've seen them going for $660 online.
