I don't see much difference. The guy is friends with all those in the deep state. He will protect the agencies where they work. They see that as a high calling.

He said he was shocked with the FBI’s behavior (in regards to the Mueller investigation).

Has also said he is ok with gun control as long as it's part of a bigger crime bill.

Read our letter of opposition & tell the Senate to reject President Trump’s latest anti-gun rights authoritarian nominee William P. Barr (for AG) at http://OpposeBarr.Com #2A #DueProcess #redflag #rkba

Action alert! Urge your Senators to oppose William Barr for Attorney General, if he will not commit to opposing gun control! Our pre-written letters are tailored to both Republican and Democrat Senators.

Based on his carefully worded answers to the Senate I think his primary focus for the next couple of years at least will be to bury anything and everything that implicates the president that might be in the Muller report so it never sees the light of day.

And I also think we need to push along the ERPOs (Extreme Risk Protection Orders), so we have these red flag laws to supplement the use of the background check to find out if someone has some mental disturbance. This is the single most important thing I think we can do in the gun control area to stop these massacres from happening in the first place.

But I do not know that the AG has any power to do anything about this.

What do you think might be in the Mueller report that hasn't been the subject of leaks these prior two years already? And there's no guarantee of Mueller releasing any report at all.

I am a bit concerned on the red flag stuff. Doing it at all is a problem, regulatory is an issue to me, and it being a primary thing for him is something I really don't like.1

Although I do like his idea on Heller, I very much dislike his balancing test.2
I wonder what part of "shall not be infringed" he has trouble understanding.

I'm not sure, will have to wait and see, but I'd say that since this whole thing started the president has yet to do anything to make me think he is innocent and that this is a witch hunt. Quite the opposite.

And somewhat related, what about Rudy. He has backpedaled himself all the way to the Oval Office door. What's left, "Yes, Trump colluded, but was too stupid to know it was wrong." The Reagan "dotard" defense.
