That was educational zetor, I’d never seen them done like that. I may have to steal the idea if I start casting for 45-70.
It’s not my idea it’s been around longer than I’ve been alive. It should work fine for your rifle. You don’t HAVE to have lubrisizer. I think this works good enough for rounds you aren’t shooting a lot at a time. This is the guy I got the lube from. He gives a better demo.

My screen shows those projectiles as red in color. Is the
polymer coated cast lead bullets are made from 92-6-2 commercial casting alloy and coated with Hi-Tek Heat Set Supercoat that molecularly bonds to the lead encasing the entire projectile in a protective shell that is self-lubricating.

Can you adjust OAL by twisting the base? 😁
Interesting thought. I never tried. Just walked over and grabbed one twisted pulled pushed on the side. Nothing budged. Tapped it on the table still nothing. Measured the OAL and it was still good.
I do use a taper crimp. I'm a little obsessive with the measurements. I used the Speer book for this batch.
Will know in a few weeks how they worked.

It is bake on.
Summit City made these. - Summit City Bullets 9mm 124 Grains BB RN Hi-Tek coated cast lead bullets
I was really happy with the coating on the previous batch of .45 LSWC. I really like it for a lot of reasons. No leading and I am not handling lead. Here is the coating manufacturer.

All the gory details to apply the coating - Coating Instructions - Hi-Performance Bullet Coatings
But at these prices, I would rather not bother.

I go to Harbor Freight and buy a container, shake the boolits in the powder in a plastic peanut butter jar for a couple minutes then bake them in an old replaced toaster oven.

Much cheaper and less steps.

Had some company today. Match and Adam came over and poured some beautiful bullets. I had a great visit and I hope they come back.
When they left I poured a few 440 grain bullets from a Lee mold. Has two crimp grooves. The Lee.501 mold overheats quickly and you have to wait after dropping before pouring again. Accurate 44 on left
And Lee .501 on right….44 much meatier

This isn’t all of them, but this week I’ve cleaned, sized, belled, recleaned, and primed 750 .38 Spl cases for Mark and I to play with tomorrow.

Tonight I also cleaned five of the guns that I’ve shot in the last weeks.
