I know that Match 10 and I aren’t the only reloaders here. We reload on most Saturdays.

Today was a low volume day for us. We loaded 40 rounds of 30-40 Krag for him to try in a recently acquired rifle. They are Hornady 150gr soft points. 20 at over 35gr of H335 and 20 are over 36 of H335.

We also loaded 100 .357 Magnum defensive rounds that are 125gr Hornady XTP over 9.5gr of Power Pistol, and 150 .357 soft target rounds that are 158gr Berry’s flat point over 5.9gr of W244.

Might look into something like this. Not too difficult to store in a closet and not super expensive.

Or cut some plywood for the top, a piece of material to cover it and make it a lamp stand.

Only one thing could make that pic better. Have a Colt lying there.

Nemo
Yeps. Plastic guns. No more need be said.

No, just call them green bullets. If you cast them, they are green boolits.

Especially if they are hooked in the front rather than the back.

All 152 were primed with Federal 150 primers and are fraud to load.
? ? ? ? ?

Nemo
A bit more grease on it and it will be perfect.

Nemo
You do not deprime before tumbling? I figure that is the best way to make sure the pinhole is clean.

Nemo
I do steel pins. Separation is relatively easy with a magnet taken from a burned out microwave.

Nemo
Ever tried powder coating? Thoughts?

Nemo
My screen shows those projectiles as red in color. Is the
polymer coated cast lead bullets are made from 92-6-2 commercial casting alloy and coated with Hi-Tek Heat Set Supercoat that molecularly bonds to the lead encasing the entire projectile in a protective shell that is self-lubricating.
a type of bake on powder or ? ? ?

Nemo
I go to Harbor Freight and buy a container, shake the boolits in the powder in a plastic peanut butter jar for a couple minutes then bake them in an old replaced toaster oven.

Much cheaper and less steps.

Nemo
Thems big boolits!

Spend some of the money you are saving on reloading and get a new electric one. Keep the old one for dark times.

Might want to get a microwave oven magnet around in there. Sure looks like some steel cases. Thats a good way to separate any steel pins from the brass. That is also a good way to get an steel cases out of the mix.

Put the magnet in a ziplock and in the basin. Swish the brass around and the pins will stick to the magnet outside the bag. Unzip the bag and remove the magnet and the pins drop off the bag in the pin drying pan. Back in the bag and get the rest from the wet pan.

Works well for me anyway.

For those who may not know, there are 25.4 millimeters in 1 inch. Standard metric conversion calculation.

Metrics. Gotta hate 'em.

I need to cut about 2” off the stool legs
Did you get all 4 the same so it sits level? The 2 times I tried that never got it right. Shims are great.

Nemo
But you do have a .22 don't you? If not, get one. You are something or other if you don't. Don't know what, but something is wrong. Go for a Ruger Single Six or Bearcat.

Nemo
I need to see how that works too. I do some small reloading but don't recognize where the brass goes or the depriming pin is.
