I guess I would have to say my favorite sight would be Sara Brady, Rosy O'Donell and Hillary Clinton with thier mouths sewed shut! :lol:glockgirl said:what are your favorite sights?
It would depend on the purpose. I have Ameriglo night sights on my G19 and like them very much. I have the GLOCK brand night sights on G27, and they give the exact same sight picture as the factory plastic sights. I don't like them as much as I do the Ameriglos. The Trijicon night sights seem to have a nice picture. If I were going to add night sights to another Glock, I'd probably go with Ameriglo Operators. They have a slightly wider rear notch, which I really like.glockgirl said:so what are your favorite brand/type of sights? Especially ones for glocks![]()
Gotchya. You're welcome to check out my Ameriglos, and Clyde's has some with Trijicons in stock.glockgirl said:well mostly I just have a hard time quickly aquiring a sight picture with the factory sights on the glock. When I was shooting Dan's XD i could aquire the target much faster and more accurately. Whether it was because of the sights or just the difference in pistol I am not sure but it sure seemed to be the sights for a portion of it.
Just wanted to look at several different ones and see if anything struck my fancy.
So, you went for the mint toothpaste and avocado/puke green options, huh?mzmtg said:TruGlo Tritium Fiber Optic (TFO), very bright in both daylight and no light:
I like the TFO's as well, but what I like about mine is the fact that there arent 3 fiber optics to look at, just the one up front in between the heinie sites in the back. Personal preference really, but I agree that sites make a big difference.glockgirl said:well mostly I just have a hard time quickly aquiring a sight picture with the factory sights on the glock. Also, TFO's are night sites, mine arent.
You might want to save your money though and skip the sites and go ahead and trade your G for an XD, I think we all see that coming... ;-)
I must say that these are pretty nice! That guy at Bullseye had these on his competition Glock.Foul said:http://www.suresight.com/
