Wife heard it on radio today and sent me a message since I was at Walmart at the time. I asked an employee and they said that if I heard it, it must be true. So, I found a Customer Service Manager and had a conversation with them about it. Yes, They said it was a corporate decision and would start on 7/20/20. When we were done and I was starting to leave, I told them I would not be back as long as this rule was in place and that everything I bought at Walmart, I could buy at other places. Their reply was "don't stop coming here, we need you to live". I replied that was corporate's problem, not mine.

I asked what would happen if someone walked in wearing a mask and took it off once inside and was told that the customer would be escorted from store unless they put it back on and kept it on.

But there are those out there that will not go to Walmart (Sam's is doing the same) because of people who won't wear a mask. Now they will go to Walmart and more than make up for the business they are losing from people who refuse to wear masks. Probably will come out in the wash, so you do what you have to do.

I haven't been inside a WalMart in a long time. Best Buy is going with the same policy.

I'm about tired of Walmart. I pay extra for the extended hours at sams. When covid hit they made extended hours for seniors only. Now another change.

I hear Amazon is requiring that you wear a mask while shopping online from the convenience of your home and computing device.

I went to Walmart today to get rotisserie chicken but they had none. So I went to Publix and had a good shopping experience.

If Publix doesn't cave to the hysteria, looks like I'll be going there more often.

I like WalMart. I own a bunch of stock that I bought many years ago. I made a lot of money that socialist idiots do not agree with.

The civil disobedience is not an excuse.

Most Covid cases are with Hispanic folks. Many are illegal.

It's due to the w.h.o. telling the medical industry not to treat anyone, then the communist disease center doubling down on it. Before this garbage, with identical symptoms, I could go to my doctor and get an antibiotic and steroid. Right now, I can still go to my doctor and get an antibiotic and steroid for these symptoms. But the free clinics, and urgent cares, and ERs that low income people have to rely on are sticking to the official guidance of "do nothing" in order to cover their backsides against a malpractice suit.

So why does that affect minorities so much? Unfortunately, low-income areas tend to heavily overlap with minority areas. A good contrast here in Georgia is Hancock County vs Forsyth County. Forsyth has 30 times the population, 50 times the density, but only 4 times the cases, and half the deaths of Hancock. Forsyth is 85% white and high income. Hancock is 84% black and quite poor. Given how red Forsyth is, and how blue Hancock is (based on voting records, possibly the two greatest extremes in the state), I guarantee you, Forsyth people aren't wearing masks, aren't keeping their distance, but in Hancock, with 20 people per square mile, you can't NOT keep your distance. I also guarantee you, probably 70%+ of people in Forsyth have a good relationship with a primary care physician who is willing to rely on their experience instead of official guidance because they know they aren't nearly as likely to be sued.

It sure sounds like a conspiracy to let this take more lives, doesn't it?

If at the beginning every critical Covid-19 patient was given intravenous ascorbic acid and prednisone, a lot of lives could have been saved.

Not an excuse for what? If you're trying to conflate civil disobedience with the current fashionable "protests" that are going on in various places you're missing the mark.

Civil disobedience is an action, a tactic. It has a proud history of use when those in charge need to be told to go f*ck themselves.

Kroger has announced they will be requiring a mask as well. I wear a mask anyway to these places when I shop so no big deal to me.

We seldom go to Publix. Their prices are too high.

I wonder how soon I would be escorted back out the door at a Wamfart if I walked in with a mask that had

    EFF
    WAMFART

written on it with a black Sharpie?

That's not gonna happen, though. Any place that requires me to be a sheeple and wear an idiotic placebo is going to furnish me a mask.

I don’t see the signage using the word “mask” too often. Just voluntarily subjected myself to the tyrannical group think for 10 minutes at Staples to pick up an order. They had signage requiring “face coverings”. Seems without a legal definition a beard or some other means may technically suffice.
