I'll second those before me and would love to tell each and everyone one that has ever served this country : Thanks. Without you and your courage this country wouldn't be the same.

Also I want to remember my dad on this day as well, he served in the US Navy and was involved in an airplane crash on the USS Nimitz. He passed 2 years ago. Thanks dad for all you've done. Today is your day. Love ya pops.

Before this Hallowed Day ends, I, too, want to thank all you veterans who have served this great country of ours! May God bless you all!!!

I especially think of my late father on this day. He served in the US Navy in mine warfare.
He had the distinction of serving in both both theaters of the war. He was on the USS Tide during the North Africa campaign, and the YMS 407 at Iwo Jima.
