Interesting. Floyd County went 69/26 Trump over Clinton.

I'm not surprised by some of the blue around me, but one large are is a lot bluer than I expected.

Why is it blue in most of downtown city areas? i.e. Dalton, Rome, Lagrange...
Is a minority population or are their that many dems congregating in downtown areas?

In Savannah, this map and the crime map are almost identical.

In Georgia the Army and Marine bases are blue. The Navy base is pink. Things seemed to have changed a lot in the last 20 years.

Regarding Rome, the blue area isn't "downtown" but it's right next to it. Something like 700 votes. It's mostly a spread out industrial area but the northern tip of it is a Civil War cemetery surrounded by a lot of old, restored homes. Maybe inhabited by a bunch of aging yuppies strung out on dope. Maybe a few votes from the cemetery's inhabitants?

Very possible that the cemetery was voting. I just found it odd that the cities are blue and the surrounding areas are all dark red.

Welll dangies, someone put a lot of work into that :)
There needs to be a corresponding/contrasting map for violent crime and homicide though

There's folks that like free stuff, or at least the promise of free stuff.

I like free stuff too, but never got any.
