My family and I were there this time last year. Nothing then. I cant say about now. Typical searching of bags but not people. :sly: :mrgreen:
Universal Orlando?
Does anybody know if they have metal detectors there? I am going with my fiancee early next month and would like to take my firearm with me into the park if I can. This will be my first time there which is why I am asking. Thanks.

I went there a few years ago.
Left my pistol locked up (unloaded) in parked car.
I think that I could have carried it concealed and gotten away with it, BUT...
... but I didn't want to take the risk of raising my arms and "flashing" the gun, or having it "print" if I got wet, or have somebody bump into it in a waiting line and freak out.
That park is too expensive to risk getting kicked out of for violating their rules.
And I didn't want to worry about it being spotted by somebody. Just the worry about that possibility would reduce my enjoyment of the park.

Oh, I carry in a Smart Carry holster so that won't be an issue

I was there 2 years ago, only typical bag searches at both Disney and Universal. I carried my Keltec in my pants pocket in a zip lock bag, and did the same for the wallet just in case for the water rides :righton:
