I loved my CZ so much that I wanted to try out one of the compact clones. Luckily, my local Academy had one in stock for $329. This thing is a lot of gun for that price. It's definitely not a CZ, but it is a good little shooter. Trigger is a little stiffer than the CZ, but I've read that it will break in. Only got about 70-80 rounds through it so far, but I'm impressed with the feel and accuracy. Gonna try the 4 plate challenge with it on my next range trip.

I picked one of these up because the price was right and I was amazed at the quality/feel. Best bang for the buck in my opinion.
Not bad, but for $40 more you can get the K2 14+1 .45 from CDNN Sports - a VERY high quality pistol with a nice DA/SA trigger. It's also basically a CZ/Witness clone from Turkey.
Sorry, but this is all I can think when you say Tristar

I own one and love it. My current go to pistol for everyday shooting and carry. Probably 200 - 300 rounds of all brands and bullet configurations and never a jam. I think you'll be pleased with it. I know I am.
Hmm Academy, hadn't been in one since they decided to hide their AR15's. Daniel Defense fired them as a seller and I agree with it.
I love cz clones. Though i lean more towards witnesses

I've got about the same number of rounds through mine, and it's been really good. I've used cheap steel case, good brass cased FMJ, and some Hornady Critical Defense that needed to be shot up yesterday (it was about 8 months old and had been loaded and unloaded several times), all without a hiccup. It's just shockingly accurate, even compared to the Glock 17 I used to have.

I very nearly bought an EAA, but decided to get the actual full sized CZ instead. Of course, there's nothing (besides $$) stopping me from getting both ;)
