In need of a Insured Tree Service to prune some lower limbs off of a White Oak tree and prune a Japanese Maple.

Some of the limbs of the oak tree are overhanging the neighbors house, so yeah, they need to be taken down.

One question, do I approach the neighbor to help with cost? My wife says yes, but I don't think so since it is our tree and we are having other limbs taken out that overhang our own house.

Get with the neighbor. He may know someone or be willing to assist on cost. Contact them to at least advise them on your plans and get their input.

I think it is your tree so you must pay to trim it.

I did it with a big oak tree on my side of the property line. It was dyeing tree and leaning towards his kid's upstairs room. The tree cost me $800 to remove since they had to take it down from the top (piece by piece).

I liked the oak trees all over my yard when I bought the house. Not so much now with the checks to Davey Tree.
