1984 Bulgarian "Circle 10" military Makarov (9x18mm) in like new condition. PW arms import (very discreet import marking). Comes with two 8rd mags.

Ammo:
100rds Silver Bear JHP
25rds Hornady XTP JHP

Accessories:
Bianchi Pro 100 IWB holster
Red Storm leather IWB holster
Military surplus leather holster (leather flap holster with extra mag pocket)
Leather lanyard with clip
Black plastic thumbrest grip
Brown Bakelite "star in circle" grip w/ thumbrest and lanyard loop
Custom Hardwood grips--checkered

I'm interested in a Kel-Tec 9mm or .380. I also like old military guns, but I'd rather replace a handgun with handgun.

Took the Mak to Nick's Guns (formerly Ed's) and shot up all that "Silver Bear" zinc plated stuff you gave me. 8)

Seems to be a great shooter. Love the wooden grip on it...think I'll keep it and the wife can keep the makawraps on the E. German one (she likes them better).

Thanks again!

Glad you like it! :D

I bought the Silver Bear from AIM Surplus online. It seems like no shop around me carries much 9x18. I hated to pay shipping, but just couldn't find any practice ammo at a decent price.

It seemed like a decent shooter to me as well. Would definitely be good for CCW. I think I carried it twice, tops. It was comfortable and concealable both times.

I usually use Silver Bear, but the nickel plated cases, not the zinc.

We noticed the zinc ones would fail to feed a few times. Prolly had 5 out of the two boxes of 50.

Went through another box of my nickel plated stuff, and didn't have a single failure.

*shrug*

Both by the same manufacturer.

Hmmm...interesting, but good to know info on a new gun. The only mod I considered, other than the grips, was to add a Wolff recoil spring.
