Hey everyone, I hope I put this in the correct section as it is not a firearm but I am looking to trade for a firearm..
Any who, I've got a brand new (less than a month old) Fender American standard stratocaster guitar. This is olympic white with a maple fretboard and is absolutely gorgeous! I'm finding out that I'm really more of a Gibson guy and I'm just not bonding to well with it, don't get me wrong, it's a great guitar.. Just not what I'm looking for I guess.
On this one, the bridge pickup has been replaced with a Seymour Duncan JB jr pickup but I will include the original in the sale. The stock pickups are Fender custom shop fat 50's and they sound great! The plastic parts have also been swapped to white but the original aged parts will be included as well. The guitar comes with the factory ABS hardshell case and all accessories, paperwork, stickers, cloth, strap, etc. It's is in absolute MINT condition.
I paid $1,299 for it a couple of weeks ago and an additional $85 for the pickup, so just under $1,400 bucks.. I'm thinking a value of about $1,100 should be fair for it.
I would like to trade for a gun, multiple guns, either way. My highest interest would be in an H&K or German made Sig Sauer. Very much like the USP series and the P226. I would also consider Glocks as partial trades. A nice 1911 would work as well. Rifle wise, I would only be interested in AR-15's or bolt action .308's preferably with a scope installed. Outside of that, there's not much else I would be looking for. Would also consider trade for other guitars from Gibson, PRS, ESP, etc. Would take partial trade + cash as well.
