Police: Man In Drag Stalked Neighbor

St. Cloud, Fla. -- A Florida man is accused of stalking his neighbor while dressed in drag.

The woman said she was repeatedly targeted at her home in St. Cloud, near Orlando.

The victim said she didn't know who the man dressed in drag was until she saw him arrested.

Then she realized it was her neighbor who lives right across the street.

Ronald Hoth, 56, was dressed as a woman with a bleach blonde wig, a bra, and high heels.

Deputies caught him urinating on Jane Morningstar's screened back porch.

"I guess I felt in danger because I was always getting up, looking out, to see if someone was in the backyard," said Morningstar. She said he's also defecated on her back walkway. After Morningstar reported the incidents, Osceola County deputies spent several nights in a row staking out her home until they caught Hoth.

"It's strange. It's strange because of his behavior, because of the clothing he was wearing and the types of acts he was performing," said Twis Lizasuain with the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.

According to the arrest affidavit, Hoth kept running when he was told to stop and even bit a deputy who was trying to handcuff him. He also tried to resist a police dog and was bitten on the leg.

Morningstar said Hoth was always friendly to her. He used to mow her grass. She has now filed a temporary restraining order against him.

"I just thought it may be a romantic thing on his behalf," said Morningstar.

On Wednesday night, Hoth was in the Osceola County Jail.
