    How is this even possible?

    http://www.newsday.com/news/local/wire/ ... 2662.story

I am seriously tempted to duplicate this. What if I throw a bible in the toilet... is that a hate crime? Why is the Koran different?

Absoutely unbelievable. I am just overreacting, right? Tell me I am because this seriously pisses me off.

For just a second, I misread the title of this thread to be "Throwing a Korean in the toilet = hate crime?"
That of course would have actually been a crime. (I think "hate crimes" are a load of poo.) There goes my brain again, trying to make sense in a nonsensical world.

I wish we could get this pissed off when someone burns the flag.

I contend that Old Glory is sacred as the country song goes "There's a lot of men dead..."

I'm not making a comment on my support or opposition to a law against flag burning, but turn about is fair play

Koran in toilet : Hate Muslims :: Burning Flag : Hate Americans?
