Three Non Essential Firearms

    and here we go into "knockdown power" again...

    I love the 1911, but .45 ACP doesn't have the 'knockdown power' of a cinder block (unless we're talking about a very slow-moving cinder block) and capacity of a viable self-defense round wins out over diameter any day.

    I've been down that road with GS and it's a dead end. Was a nice discussion on Newton though.
    I like the .45 and carry one everyday. That's a personnel preference based on experience and confidence in the weapon. With that said I can not argue with your viable self defense round statement.
