A loaded gun magazine was found in the seat-back pocket of a Southwest Airlines plane. By a kid. Don't sweat it, though. It was only left behind by a federal law enforcement agent!

Great quote:
...why do we have to choose between the nudie cancer machines and the bathing suit area massageâ€"neither of which, it bears repeating over and over, have been shown to do much in the way of preventing terrorist attacksâ€"if we can just find bullets on any old plane?

The scanners and the patdowns are not making us any safer. Whatever we try to do to "increase safety," the terrorist have a perfectly good way of foiling detection. They will always find a way, whether it is cavity bombs, or even surgically implanting bombs. Both are very viable options.

The office of government oversight even said that the scanners would probably have not even caught the underwear bomber. This is not making us any safer, while destroying our 4th amendment rights.
