    Set your DVR's - HBO is showing all 10 (I think there are 10, right?) episodes of "The Pacific" today in honor of Veteran's Day. I have never seen them so I've got my DVR all set up to record all episodes! :righton:

    Hope you enjoy it more than me. I thought it was very weak compared to "Band of Brothers."

    I disagree. Only one BoB battle scene (taking the town, getting chased out by panzers) comes close to the fighting scenes in The Pacific. I thought it was very well done.

    Band of Brothers was character driven and that's why it was so great. In The Pacific, I never got in touch with the characters, so the whole series was a let down, to me anyway.
