...the national anthem...racist and anti-black.

We could change it to this
Another stupid black woman and organization vainly searching for another reason to push the white guilt meme. Too bad she and her organization don't understand the concept of "context." If they did they'd understand one of the underlying reasons for the War of 1812, impressment. The term "slave" doesn't always denote a racist and anti-black attitude. Some people just think much too highly of themselves to the uncalled-for detriment of others.
How do you deal with a group of people who are completely ignorant and have absolutely no knowledge of their own history or the history of the Country they reside in except for what their Liberal Handlers tell them is history. Then again I am an old White man who created all the problems to begin with. Then again I also know the solutions.

Things like this are just the guerrilla warfare tactics of libtards. When they cannot win a battle face-on, they attempt to chip away at the stone. Chiseling away, little by little. Things of this nature are all over the news, and if you are observant, you can tell that.

The only part I like about this is that they are now turning on and eating away at each other. Because when they aren't getting the success they desire, they turn to cannibalism. It is in the mindset of libtards to always have something to bitch about. It's almost the same as with protestors. Protestors are never happy unless they have something to protest about.

Unfortunately, we need to admit that there are many white people who are just as ignorant and unknowledgeable as any other group in this country. Some of the more "enlightened" ones even call for genocide against their own kind. A fitting tribute to progressive education.

I tend to think it's more in the definition of progressives. They want "change", period. What does a progressive do when they get everything they want? Make up something else to change, even change it back and call it progressive. "Look at us, we're fixing it."

You will notice The Statement said a group of people not a specific color or race. With that said I completely agree with your statement.

There is some truth to this. Progressives seem to view anything that is established-quo as backwards, outdated, wrong, etc. "Progress" only comes through change. Hence you see many progressives offer up communistic philosophies - since the ideas are based on capitalism like we use today, they must be better. The progressive movement seems to be just a manifestation of "idealism" where policy is based on ideals w/o much thought given to implications of implementation.

And we certainly see this with gun control where history is full of examples of disarming a population just before the real "control" is implemented. Control being the extermination of a population. GFZ are another example of implementing idealism with disastrous results.

Anything for the cause, right? I've seen this and can't help but wonder if they even know what they're saying. I want to ask these snowflakes, "You do know that will hurt, don't you?"

Better yet, I wonder if they would volunteer to be first, for the cause?
"No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave"

This has no reference to blacks held in slavery in the colonies at all. It is a reference to all fighting on the British side, referred to disparagingly as hirelings and slaves, as opposed to those on the American side, referred to as "freeman," "free," and "brave," that is, those not subjugated under a monarchy.

The ignorance of American blacks is appalling because of the effect it has had on culture, politics, and interpretation of history.

But... but...but...raaaacist
Reminds me of the college professor who was fired for using the word niggardly at a staff meeting about finances. Pure ignorance of the English language and etymology resulted in emotional offense.

"The possession of arms is the distinction between a free man and a slave."

No, James Burgh was not commenting on blacks. He was commenting on civil liberties or the lack thereof. This was a common way of writing back then that we do not recognize now because of political correctness.
Slave was not a word coined for the American situation. I would say it's as old as the oldest profession. Once you get past the initial Internet presentation of slave, slavery extends back past the 18th century BC. It's another form of tyranny or oppression and that's been around forever.
