I bought this book a few weeks back. I am looking forward to the Hungarian uprising.

Great read, I'll have to add that to my list of books to purchase.

False. Sturmgewehr was first to be designed and fielded in battle. The two rifles that developed from the sturmgewehr were the cetme and the ak-47. It had a lot to do with where the engineers, Schmeiser (sp?) and Vorgrimmler (sp?) ended up post-war.
