When trying to decide which state parks to visit on a little vacation lately, I discovered that North Carolina, although nice of them to recognize GWL's, do not allow carrying firearms in their state parks. NC (unless they've changed the law recently), also does not allow firearm carry into any place that charges admission. That's just too many restrictions on the exercise of a fundamental Constitutional right.

Needless to say, I chose to visit Tennessee. In 2009 TN passed a law allowing carry in their state parks. They were a little late to the game, but at least they got there.
