So, I never had this problem/situation come up before.
I can receive a text message, answer it and all seems well if you don't notice that the reply I send is actually time stamped and appears on the screen before the original text I received and to which I am replying.

This happens with multiple people with whom I text and some are even on my plan so it is not like they are in another time zone or anything.

What's up with that I wonder

Govt and all is on GMT and they are messing with you, just to mess with your brain and make you ask questions on internet forums. Beware, you are high on the lists.

So you've discovered the secret of time travel and are trying to keep it a secret?
That's totally awesome, but you don't need to come here to brag about it...

I wonder if it is something weird like the local cell tower not being able to synch to a time server. Does it only happen when your at one location or all of the time? If this is SMS messages (vs. Apple's iMessage), the cell towers may have something to do with it. It seems like I remember Sprint having an issue with Android phones a while back and some type of app-based fix was released....
Sounds like the phone isn't taking time from the network. Check your settings.

Multiple locations. I have also noticed that my time is occasionally different than my wife's and son's both of whom are on my plan. live in the same town and are in the same locations when I compare.
I get the same thing happen with my Window's phone on AT&T's network from time to time. It is usually only like a minute difference and when I respond immediately.

Very strange. It sounds like the phone isn't synching its local time. I've always used iPhones, so I don't have any experience with the related settings on an Android-based device.
It's the Russians and the Democrats colluding against you.
It's bushes fault
Your clock is wrong. You must have inadvertently turned
off auto date and time (network provided time).
Check your settings.

Just checked and it was off. Thanks. I'll see what that does.
You're all set, then!
You're all set then. And now. And higher on their list.

Looks like it. I have not had a recurrence.
