Seriously, this guy snapped a photograph of the cops on the street in front of his house, from his back porch and the cops opened his back gate, approached, and grabbed him!

Face down, hood of the car, "'You should have just went in the house and minded your own business instead of trying to take pictures off your picture phone."

Of course, the police say they said no such thing, but the quote is from a neighbor, and the police later released him with no charges.

Probably could not find the "cell phone photo felony" in the statute book. :D

Even if there was such a law, I think this is abuse of power. I would have never made such an arrest as a police officer.

Of course, Georgia has a case saying you can pretty much do what you want, heckling the officers, so long as you maintain a distance of, oh, what was it, 8 feet or so?

I certainly hope that is not a crime! If so, anyone who has taken a picture EVER might have accidently caught a LEO in the background. I would go to jail because I have pics of 9 cops arresting the crackhead dealers across the street from me!!! I just thought it was interesting to watch.
