Back in reality...I think it looks good and have been thinking about getting something like that myself. I was checking out Aim surplus last night and came across this one:

It looks good enough, but I have had trouble with Promag pistol mags and would dump that mag for something else.

On request they wil substitute steel mags for the promag.

Dan, My graduates from college today. I told her that she can use our Jared Jewelers Card to get something for $400-$500 for a graduation present. $1800 later, she told me to use part of her bonus that she gets Thurs to buy a new toy. After paying what we need to pay with her bonus I'll have about $500 to play with.

Just save up for both. That's what I want to do. Got 1, now saving up for more.

If you want to punch tiny holes in paper at long ranges and shoot poodles and prairie dogs get an AR. If you want a true fighting weapon get the AK or save up and buy a SOCOM 16 or Scout Squad.

It is indeed. Rest assured that if they had happy switches, I'd have already maxed out all my credit cards and bought their entire stock.

I am currently in the market for a carry weapon, though, and I don't think I can get this now with my current (lack of) job.

EDIT: It looks like their M44s aren't a bad price either.

If it had a weaver rail on the top for a red dot sight i would get one, dont see much more tactical advantage this has over my SAR-1.
