"Suspect arrested after stabbing at Fowler Park"

Title sounds misleading after reading the article.

"One suspect produced a knife and cut a victim who suffered non-life-threatening injuries," the release said. "An older adult produced a firearm ordering the suspect to drop the knife."

Will be watching this one for multiple reasons, distance and gun produced. We live 1.5 miles away and my wife walks here weekly.

According to the sheriff's office, the gun owner was not one of the two arrested

The case remains under investigation.

Rode my bike there before on the trail some years ago. Was armed, of course. It's a nice park.

Oh, I thought only squirrels or flowers attacked you in nice parks, so you don't need to carry a gun in them. So say the self-defense haters.
Fowler park is my go-to place for hiking and bicycle riding along the Big Creek Greenway.
I often stop for water or using the bathroom right there next to the trick skating section of the park.

I've never noticed the teenagers who hang out doing skateboarding and rollerblading tricks were particularly rowdy or looking like troublemakers, but all teenage boys* are stupid, overly emotional, hormone- filled "young skulls full of mush" and anything can happen when groups of them get together.

* except your kids and grandkids of course.
I'm only referring to other people's teenagers.

Yes, I always carry while exercising, but usually it's a tiny little "get off me" type pistol.

Nobody would even notice the .380
with the laser sight in my pocket.
