I've been reading the forums for about a month now and went to the Macon show to meet some of the folks and join GCO. Enjoyed meeting Tinker, Merlock and Packing Peaches.

The title says newbie but I got a GFL when I turned 21 and that was 30 years ago. 'Bout time we did something about Ga's carry laws.

Glad to see someone else here from the Americus area checking in. I got my first permit and renewal form Judge Judy Reeves. I had to have a sit down with Sheriff Randy Howard before she would sign off on it.

That was so long ago, and I thought it was the process. Sumter county is small and I guess he wanted make sure I wasn't gonna go shoot up the town after a wild night at the Astro's Lounge. :drink: It was only a 5 min talk and I was out the door with a GFL.
