All you people think that you are "safe" by living in the country? Living and shopping in "nice" areas of town?
Hoodrats from the ghettos of Atlanta and DeKalb County know how to get to your white-picket-fence subdivisions.
    They don't need MARTA either.
They have cars, or can steal / borrow a car.
Gang-bangers in Atlanta like to come up to the suburbs 30 miles north of town in groups. At least ONE of dem hood rats in the 4-man "robbing crew" can borry Gramma's Oldsmobile for the trip.
It may happen less often in your ZIP code, but crime happens, and can happen ANYWHERE.

That's not a subdivision. It's true that crimes can happen anywhere but that Sunoco is in the middle of nowhere off I75.

There have been two store burglaries in Jasper this week. They think it's a gang from Atlanta called the "All Money Gang."

How did you arrive at that conclusion? I don't think anybody with an IQ over room temperature believes there are any crime free zones these days. I just recently found out that Rome is a major heroin traffic hub.

    And that's why we carry.

I actually work less than 1/4 mile from this station. And people ask me why I carry... :shoot:

Which two? I'm in Jasper 2-3 a month for work and have some good friends up that way.

This is not a new thing.
I know of a couple of small East TX towns that have more police presence than big cities. Illegal drugs have been popular for a few years now.

My retirement fund and savings are all in the form of precious metals, which I will be more than happy to give them if they show up at my door: high-speed delivery guaranteed.

Lead is a precious metal, right?
