SSN and FL Non-Resident Permit Application

For those of you with FL Non-res. permits, did you put your SSN on the application?

I quickly checked FL statute 790 and I didn't see anything stating why they needed my SSN nor is there anything notification on the application. Maybe I am missing something though, which is why I'm posting this question to more knowledgeable folks.

Why do you need a FL non resident permit......if you live in GA, your GA permit (license) works in FL.....

That is true. However, the FL non-res permit works in many states your GFL will not :) Check out the difference here: http://handgunlaw.us/LicMaps/ccwmap.php
No SSN required for Florida License. Applied for one last year, got it in 36 days. Wish I could have said the same for GA license
I am waiting for my mail from FL to apply for mine, what is accepted for the training requirment? I believe I read that they will accept a DD214. What else could be used?
Most NRA classes or hunter education courses.

I'm surprised hunter education counts...that was hardly firearms training.
