It started off as a loaded model, Doc did the following:
    Under cut the trigger guard
Stippled the front strap and mainspring housing
    Wilson extractor, safety, mag release
    Kings speed chute
    Reliability job
    Re-finish
Extended skelatonized trigger that breaks at 4lbs.
    Standard length guide rod
10-8 rear sight opened up to .145
Trijicon white ring tritium front sight .125 wide
    New springs

I'm bumping this thread because I'm researching this model 1911. Does anyone else have a Springer Loaded A1?

Actually I have just adopted a Springfield loaded 1911-A1 as my main carry weapon. I do need to get some time on the range with it though. Mine is stainless and still stock from the factory.
How do I upload a picture on this forum?

thats a very nice gun man. i dont know anything about gun smithing, but i want some work done on my taurus 1911 to make it run a little better and put a new skeletonized hammer from wilson. i dont get that nice "crisp" feeling when i work the safety or pull back the hammer. so i need to know what to get done in order to make it more refined. if you can help me out, please let me know. thanks.
