From what I remember from the SC CHP class, a hotel room is considered a residence, I believe they specifically mentioned about it being legal to carry the loaded gun from the car, through the parking lot, to the room, but I can't cite the specific law.I've skimmed through the links above in this post and haven't found any language relating to hotel / condo rooms. Are there any provisions that anyone is aware of stating that a condo rental is treated like a residence? To be perfectly clear ... I'm staying at myrtle beach for a week soon and am wondering if I'm breaking the law by having a handgun in the condo?
