P.S. My dad bought one of these in 1958, and carried it daily until about 2003, when he replaced it with an 8-shot .22LR S&W snubby.
My brother still has Dad's gun. I carried it for a few months myself, and shot it with Dad a couple times per year during his lifetime and when I was a teenager or older.
They're great guns. My other brother bought a model 638, after seeing how much we all liked Dad's original model 38.
