I don't remember this in this morning's forecast.

Where have you been? I was supposed to drive 2 basketball teams to games tonight and they were cancelled early this am due to the impending weather.
Lost, I guess. When I woke up, physically, the radio weather guy wasn't saying this. Schools weren't closed, buses ran. here anyway.

None of this seems to match Kirk's blogs this morning. Maybe I read them too fast, as in read what I wanted.

Nope, he said maybe some accumulation in grassy areas
Most roads just wet or slushy at worse with whatever accumulates mostly grassy areas, trees bushes roof tops etc
That was his 9:30AM report, today. Although he put in the usual However this could change in bold print.

That's not one of those "special" 6" rulers is it? We really can't see the rest of it.
About 6" accumulation here in NW Cobb (Acworth), and 12 more hours of snow forecast. When I got up this morning, there as an inch or two, and it hasn't let up all day. Tree limbs are popping all around me. Bad things are gonna happen tonight.

Yeah, I was wondering about tonight. It's let up at the moment here, but the 10 day wunderground.com forecast has turned to almost solid pink for the next, 14 hours! Could be interesting.

The ruler HAS to be defective because I heard the same forecast. I paid good money for it too. It keeps shrinking

Last night it was a dusting. This morning 2-3 inches on elevated surfaces and the grass but nothing on the road. Guess they screwed the pooch on this one. This is a pattern in Atlanta. Snowmageded was the same way.
I just bought a 4 wheel drive truck for this very reason. To bad I need to replace the heater core:-(
I had clogged heater core but managed to blow it out with a water hose. Good thing because replacing it involved removing PS airbag....not messing with that.

I can't tell, if I turn my phone one way, you have 28" of snow. If I turn it the other way, it's only 8". I hope you didn't pay too much for that thing. It reallt is defective.
I hope all of y'all who actually got snow will be safe over the weekend. Still rain here.
I used my trusty wooden school ruler and we've got 2" and it's still coming. That's actually a lot for here.
We lost power here in Acworth about 30 minutes ago. Phone lines to Cobb EMC are jammed up. Candles and flashlights now. It's probably gonna get rather chilly.
I figured out that my tires say "3 season" and they mean 3 season.

I almost didn't get up the hill into my apartment complex at 1:00 pm. I had traded out my work truck for a quick trip to Chic-Fil-A for lunch. oops, time to park the Camaro. too much horsepower to ease up a hill if you have to stop half-way.

One quick trip to Kroger for essentials and park until the roads clear.

Lol, funny how that works isn't it? You never pay much attention to 3 season tires...until the 4th season arrives. Stay safe this weekend.

I hope not milk and bread.

I hate it when I really am out of milk and bread right before a snowstorm is predicted. Then I feel like the people I make fun of, when I have to get that stuff.

Beer and magazines are the things to get before snowstorms.
