Happened at 4am - guy used a ladder to climb into a second story window. Homeowner called 911, armed himself, and shot and killed the intruder. Gwin. Co. Police have said that it looks like the homeowner was "well within his rights" in the shoot.

It was tax free weekend also he was looking for a good deal on those clothes and possibly a computer.

You have to admire his determination. He stole the ladder to climb on the roof to try and rob the place.

Actually not that uncommon. I've always advised people to secure ladders on their property.

Then that afternoon they tweet this, a better headline and story:
