Simpsonwood Park, recently purchased from a private owner is now public property. It still has the chapel on the grounds.

Since this could be considered to be a "place of worship", is it off limits... or is it not off limits as it is in a public park. I wonder who would be the "governing board" that one would petition if off limits - the County Commission?

You haven't given Gwinnett County five years to update the signage on their new property. ;-)

Interesting. Last I was there, maybe a month ago, it had private property signs all over.

That could be a good argument for the judge if it gets to that point.

I'll openly carry in the Chapel if I ever visit the park - and I do generally seek out new parks to bring my children to.

Under the 1st Amendment and the court-imposed separation of church and state, can a government entity even own a place of worship?
