I now understand why some women go nuts over a nice purse. I've always been a utilitarian kind of guy, and never cared what my tools looked like, so long as they worked. Until today...

Carry in Style

I need help. I'm actually debating holding off on finishing my next AR to get a P220 Carry Equinox, which is just wronger than John McCain on the border issue.

Does anyone have a P220 Carry, and what are your opinions of it?

I debated really hard before I bought my P229 (.40). I really, really wanted the (.45) but instead opted for the (.40) simply for the extra magazine capacity. Have you seen it in person yet? Shuler's has an Equinox but I can't remember which model/size it is. It is really [email protected]$$.

I still want one but will likely get the Glock G21SF as my next (.45) since it holds 13+1 rounds. Also would save me some $$$.

Go for it!!! Do it!!! Then let me shoot it!!!

It's still going to be a minute, because I only have about 1/2 what I need in the AR build fund.

Thanks, Butters, I'm gonna check out the Sig contest. I love the EMP, but if I get a .9mm, I'm getting a CZ75 like LeCZends. That's probably the finest .9mm on Erf.

I'd stay away from the .9mm. It's too small to do any real damage in a SD situation ;)

If you can make it to Bulls Eye this Sunday, you can shoot my 75B SA.
No shooting allowed his weekend !!!! I'm gonna be in Vegas, either losing or increasing my gun budget.

Just as many rounds, not as blocky, less controls to get in the way, easier to conceal and probably a helluva lot more accurate
Ohhhhhh shizzle....

I've been looking at the Kimber Ultra II Eclipse as well, but... with the exception of the GI 45's, 1911's have a finicky reputation, and more than one 1911 shooter has recommended against my getting a 3" barrel on a 1911. I want a 1911, just like I want a Garand, but I don't intend to carry either one.

That said, get what works for you, I'm not religious about firearms, but I think the Equinox is hotter than Jessica Alba on fire in the desert.

John Moses Browning designed the 1911 as a full sized gun. Shorter versions have changes that make them less reliable. I would never advise anyone to buy a 1911 in anything other than full size. There are many shorter versions out there that work perfectly fine, but it's a crap shoot as to if you will get one of them. I love the look of the Eclipse as well but think it would be a bit flashy for me to carry. I think I'll save some money and go with Kimber Custom II.
