Anyone know if There are any laws or codes against firing firearm on private property in Walton?

Specifically im in a secluded area in Loganville, near Rockdale line.

I think it depends on the acreage or it used to, also check local codes if you are within city limits.

As EJR said, this is for the most part going to be in accord with your local city/county codes. Some state law on this.

See OCGA 16-11-103, it is against state law to discharge a firearm within 50 yards of a public road.

So vague. Drives me crazy.. Very rural area, but there are still homes within a half mile or so. So their interpretation vs mine.. Grr

Sec. 22-19. - Discharging firearms, air guns, etc.

(a)

It is unlawful for any person in the city to discharge any gun, pistol, or other firearm or to discharge at any time, any air gun, BB gun or toy gun which projects lead or any other missile.

(b)

This section shall not be construed to prohibit any officer of the law from discharging a firearm in the performance of his duty; nor to any citizen from discharging a firearm when lawfully defending person or property.

Would that be considered unincorporated? Im actually closer to zingara.

I know Zingara, if you are out that far you are definitely good with shooting, as long as your property is large enough and you're not too close to roads.

My gun smith buddy still lives there and we shot guns out there all the time. I'm talking an hour of sustained fire.

I get your point, but idiot kids did this one, there were idiot kids driving around shooting pedestrians and the like with airsoft guns, I remember hearing about it.

I understand your point, but there are other laws already on the books that address shooting unsuspecting (or even suspecting) pedestrians. Do we really want to encourage more gun laws and bans because some people break existing laws? If we view that type of a ban as reasonable, how can we claim other firearm bans would be unreasonable when other people act irresponsibly with firearms?
