Not for the US. We had too many NAZI sympathizers at that point in this country. The US calls for war did not ramp up until they attacked the Soviet Union, and then all the leftists in the US got their panties in a wad. That was almost two years later, in June of 1941. That same summer, Japan invaded the rest of Indochina (same thing we call Vietnam, now), and the US froze all trade with Japan, figuring it could starve Japan into submission in about six months. Pear Harbor occurred in December.

Good thing starvation isn't a legitimate excuse to start shooting at another country. We showed them.

    At least, Germany apologized.

But the Russians, of course, are silent about the large part they played in the destruction of Poland, and the massacres of the Poles they instigated.

The British were begging us for firearms then, and we sent them. Now, they won't let Americans bring a self-defense pistol to their country, or even let their own citizens carry one.

If Germany had won, would they have apologized?
