Wow. The guard didn't have a security guard license or permit for a firearm.

This guy's going to be rich. Those people are going to want to settle really quickly.

Why would anyone stop for a security guard?

Good thing he got it all recorded. He's gonna get some money out of this. And the guard that pulled the gun is probably going to be charged with aggravated assault, carrying a weapon without a license, and working as a security guard without a license. His dreams of a law enforcement career are over, thankfully.

Cops shoot drivers all the time for failing to obey orders and driving (even slowly) in the general direction of some cop.
The cops say that the driver was "trying to run them down."
Now when the security guard says the same thing, after brandishing his pistol, and no one is buying his B.S. story??? That's not fair ! ;)

Still, the article said the DA is ONLY considering charges related to unlawful weapons carry, not the crime of assault.
Probably because so many cops get a free pass to do exactly what this armed, uniformed security guard did.

By the time the next election was over the da would be really, really sick of hearing my name. I would probably be inclined to use a fair amount of the lawsuit proceeds to see that he was unemployed.
